Last press conference of the project-Negotin, 29 December 2018

The last press conference of the project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski" took place in Negotin, on the 29th of December 2018. During the event, attended by more than 50 people from the area, the representatives of the local entities, tourist information centers, public authorities, tourism economic agents, event organizers and media representatives have been informed about the results of the project and the activities of the project. The project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski" is being implemented together with the Bios Fund partners and the Tourist Organization of Negotin Municipality for 18 months: between July 2017 and January 2019, within the INTERREG IPA Romania-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.

Final Conference of the Project-Drobeta Turnu Severin, 20 December 2018

The Pro Mehedinţi Association, as Project Leader, organized on 20 December 2018 the Final Conference of the Project "7 Wonders of Mehedinţi and Borski". The conference took place at the "Teodor Costescu" Cultural Palace in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Mehedinţi County, Romania. The conference was attended by 50 people, both Romanians and Serbs from the project area as well as representatives of the press. The results of the project "7 wonders in Mehedinti and Borski" were presented to the participants. The participants received materials designed to promote the project, made especially for this event. The project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski" is being implemented together with the Bios Fund partners and the Tourist Organization of Negotin Municipality for 18 months: between July 2017 and January 2019, within the INTERREG IPA Romania-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.

CONFERENCE ON SETTING UP THE ROMANIAN-SERBIAN FISHING AND HUNTING CLUB-Negotin, 07-09 December 2018

Between 07 and 09 December 2018, the Tourist Organization of the Negotin Municipality organized a CONFERENCE ON SETTING UP THE ROMANIAN-SERBIAN FISHING AND HUNTING CLUB in Negotin, Serbia. The event was attended by 50 people, including 35 Serbs and 15 Romanians. The participants had a training session in the field in order to improve the knowledge about the management, the promotion of this type of tourism and also to bring to the attention of those interested the legislative conditions to be observed on both sides of the Danube for practicing these sports. Thus, the Club of Fishermen and Hunters in the Mehedinti and Borski regions will have the role of jointly developing an activity plan for the development of niche tourism in the cross-border area.

Third press conference of the project-Donji Milanovac,13 December 2018

The third press conference of the project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski" took place in Donji Milanovac, on the 13th of December 2018. During the event, attended by more than 50 people from the area, the representatives of the local entities, tourist information centers, public authorities, tourism economic agents, event organizers and media representatives have been informed about the results of the project and the activities of the project. OFF-ROAD AND ENDURO TOURISM CONFERENCE-ISVERNA,28-30 SEPTEMBER 2018

Common solutions are sought to promote off-road and enduro tourism both on the Romanian Danube and Serbian. Within the project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski", project code RORS-37, initiated by the Pro Mehedinţi Association in partnership with the Negotin Tourist Organization and Bios Fond in Serbia, a Romanian-Serbian Off-Road Association Enduro. The aim of the new association will be to promote the areas on the two banks of the Danube. All the details were put together at a conference held between 28-30 September 2018 in Isverna, Mehedinţi County, attended by 50 people, 20 from Romania and 30 from Serbia. In addition to the "know-how" experience, the participants will receive permanent logistic support for the establishment of the Romanian-Serbian Association, a structure that will aim to achieve in a strategic way an activity plan for the development and transformation of this resource into a service to the tourism sector and, at the same time, to protect the environment. The project "7 Wonders of Mehedinti and Borski" is financed by the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Romania-Serbia, financed by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) and co-financed by the partner states in the Program.
